Whistler has launched a new gourmet evening zipline tour.
The Evening Dinner Tour by Superfly Zipline combines a snowcat ride up Rainbow Mountain, an adrenaline-charged fly through the dark, and a gourmet dining experience in a private backcountry yurt.
Catered by the renowned Bearfoot Bistro, the dinner features a menu that includes Classic French Alsatian Onion Tart, Slow Braised Angus Beef and Warm Date Pudding with Maple Butterscotch. After dinner the magic begins. Soaring through the dark under a starlit sky from platform to platform, guests will be treated to an unforgettable zipline tour sure to get the heart thumping.
The only such tour offered in Whistler, the 4-hour round-trip tour departs at 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm daily, and is priced at $199 per person.
Daytime Tours:
Superfly’s daytime winter program begins in a heated snowcat, taking guests up Rainbow Mountain for hot drinks around a fireplace in a private yurt. Guests will then embark on a zipline tour reaching speeds of up to 100 km/hour as they fly through the BC backcountry. The 3-hour round trip tour starts daily at 10:00 am. The Superfly Winter Zipline tour is priced at $129 per adult, and $99 for children aged 12 and under.
Soar & Slumber:
For those looking for a winter wonderland getaway, the Crystal Lodge situated in the heart of Whistler Village is offering a ‘Soar & Slumber’ package. The package includes two nights accommodation, a Superfly Zipline day tour per person, complimentary parking for one vehicle per night, a 1pm late check-out, complimentary wireless internet access, and local phone calls.
