The Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance (CSIA) has announced two new inductees to its National Hall of Fame.
Guy Paulsen from British Columbia and Ian Kirkpatrick from Ontario were inducted into the categories of Builder and Inspirational Leader, respectfully, during the Hall of Fame ceremony that took place during the 2013 Tremblant and Banff Members’ Convention.
These men, both CSIA Level 4s, were recognized for their significant contribution to the growth of the CSIA on a regional and national scale, and for their lifelong dedication and commitment to skiing and ski teaching.
As CSIA committee members, they were extensively involved on Regional and/or National boards and various committees and have volunteered a wealth of time to adding value to the organization.
“Paulsen and Kirkpatrick are amongst the most valued and respected contributors to the sport of skiing in Canada,” says the CSIA. “Their dedication and commitment to alpine skiing has been noticeable from day one.”
