Coors Light Snowbombing Announces North American Debut in Canada Europe’s premiere music festival on snow coming to Sun Peaks Resort.
Sun Peaks, BC (August 4, 2016) – Europe’s largest and most popular snow and music festival, Snowbombing, is coming to North America for the first time in 2017. With the support of Coors Light, this exciting music festival will debut at Sun Peaks Resort, British Columbia from April 6 to 10.
The multi-award winning event is known as one of the world’s most unique festival experiences, infusing a snow sports vacation with global headliners and DJs. For over 17 years, the festival has drawn thousands of fans from across Europe and around the world to the Tyrolean Alps in Mayrhofen, Austria. Festival organizers are now ready to replicate the best show on snow in North America and have chosen to premiere it at Sun Peaks Resort.

With mountains as a perimeter fence and boasting some of the most awe-inspiring festival venues in the world, including sky-high mountain shacks, mystical forests stages, trail-side pool parties, road-block street carnivals, cosy alpine lodges and medieval barns, Coors Light Snowbombing Canada is an experience like no other. To top it off, revellers will be able to take part in exhilarating activities such as world-class ski and snowboard competitions, DJ battles and much, much more.
The 2017 lineup will be released this fall and will include global headliners and world-class artists. Full event and package details will be announced mid-August with package pricing including accommodation and festival tickets.

The festival is famous for delivering iconic musical performances in unique and even surreal settings. Highlights from previous years include The Prodigy performing in the middle of an enchanted forest, Rudimental playing out to a captive crowd inside a real igloo and Kasabian taking to the stage at sunset, high up on a snow capped mountain.
