Alberta’s Nakiska Ski Area has long been known for being Calgary’s Closest real mountain and being a favourite spot for families and beginners from Calgary and Banff to learn to ski.
Now, this winter Nakiska Ski Area will not only offer world class skiing, it will be adding a new Tube Park, featuring two tracks, adjacent to Kids World in the base area.
Other recent improvements to the base area include expanding the deck/eating area and the addition of a new covered BBQ pit.
Nakiska is expected to open its new tube park in time for the Holidays this year and will open through to March, 2014.
