Switch to colours and outdoors with Mont-Sainte-Anne
Beaupré, September 12th, 2016 – From this Saturday to October 10, Mont-Sainte-Anne will offer a fantastic program of its famous Great Colors Adventure, a jam-packed outdoor festival!
Outdoors for all
During four weekends, the resort will offer a wide range of activities from sports challenges to memorable breakfast buffets at the top of the mountain and many family events. Fun for all tastes!! All this in addition to our general activities in place, like mountain biking (DH and XC), gondola ride, hiking, and disc golf… to paragliding!
Choose your challenge!
• September 24th: A now-popular tradition of the festival is the Défibrose, which consists of climbing up and down the mountain as many times as possible during one day to raise money for the cystic fibrosis cause.
• October 1st: The GBV Summit Hike Challenge is a fundraiser for disadvantaged children, in which participants have to make the ascension of the mountain as many times as possible in 3.5 hours.
• October 8th: Amongst the 10 fastest growing events in Quebec, the “Défi des couleurs Simard” offers 5 different races: 23k and 11k in trails, 10k, 6.5k and 1k for kids. This run is memorable; mind-blowing landscapes filled with orange and red leaves, and the St-Lawrence River at the base of the mountain.
What’s for Thanksgiving? (October 8-9-10)
Our classic Pumpkin Hunt takes place on Saturday and Sunday. Families are invited to choose their favorite pumpkin hidden in the forest and decorate it at the base of the mountain… Kind of a challenge itself regarding the strong enthusiasm of all kids!
A must do: Sundays Breakfast Buffets
Every Sunday, we offer a perfect mix of nature and pleasure with the Breakfast Buffet at the summit formula.
