Ready! Set! Go!
Purchasing the Right Equipment
Skiing and Snowboarding can be a lifetime hobby. We’ve already spoken at length about how important it is to have equipment custom chosen and sized exactly for you. So when is it time to shell out the cash for a brand new setup of your own? Here are some basic questions and guidelines to keep in mind.
Questions for Retailers
Before you walk into a snowboard shop to buy your gear, we recommend you read up. Familiarize yourself with the basics. But when it comes down to the shopping and fitting, you can trust a good snowsports specialty retailer to know their products and to find the right ones for you. After all, they’re the experts!
Next Step Lessons
Once you can turn left and right, you might be tempted to ditch the lessons, and head off on your own. There’s so much more to learn! A qualified CASI instructor can teach you to ride the trees, shred the park, attack the steeps, or whatever else you want to master! Be sure to talk to your instructor, and let them know what exactly you can do; and what you want to learn next!
