For the past 27 years, the Canadian Ski Council (CSC) has been working with ski areas across Canada on a joint National Research Program, conducting various surveys at ski areas to help us determine participation rates, trends, and issues that will affect all of our businesses in the future. One of these important surveys is the National Consumer Profile and Satisfaction Survey.
At the individual level, your ski area will be provided with valuable feedback from your consumers on what they think about the products and services you offer at your ski area. This information will help you with your future marketing and development plans. There is no charge to your ski area to participate in this important study. Your ski area will receive a package of surveys, detailed instructional manuals, a survey schedule, and now three reports per year! All your ski area has to do is have your staff or volunteers conduct the surveys. End of season reports will be distributed to participating ski areas in early June.
Results from this important survey are also used to update our National and Regional Models for Growth, which will made be available in mid-summer.
