Tremblant’s classic end-of-season event, the Caribou Cup, is back for a 16th edition.
Saturday April 19 at 2pm, participants will be invited to don their most original disguise and take up the challenge – a 75 foot puddle jump on skis or snowboard. Should the bold and brave remain standing, they must then cross the pedestrian village to reach the finish line at the renowned P’tit Caribou bar.
Registration takes place at the P’tit Caribou between 10am and 12pm the day of the event; a $35 registration fee applies. With a maximum of 120 participants (18 years+), the competition takes places from 2pm to 5pm at the foot of the mountain on the St-Bernard trail, with music and entertainment provided to cheer on this year’s competitors. Four prizes will be awarded at day’s end: best time in the men’s and women’s categories, most original costume and most spectacular plunge. Awards will follow at 5:30pm at the P’tit Caribou, where the party spirit is sure to remain in full swing until the wee hours, thanks to DJs Matt B and La Marche.
