Mont-Sainte-Anne, QC’s new detachable quad chairlift is under construction now and will be installed on the mountain’s west side by December 15.
Officials report the new Dopplemayr chair will cut ride time in half and will serve more skiable terrain than the triple it is replacing. This new chairlift will also give a better access to all restaurants.
Also new at Mont-Sainte-Anne (MSA): two new glades on the South Side of the mountain. La Palette, a blue run, and the expert La Yahoo will be accessible by the trail La Montmorency and will end near MSA’s infamous sugar shack on La Pichard.
Raising the number of trails to 69, officials promise these new glades will put the south side of MSA into better play, which previously only offered one glade run: La Rigolo.
