Winter is around the corner and ski and snowboard enthusiasts couldn’t be more excited with the arrival of the Toronto Snow Show taking place at the International Center in Mississauga October 15 to 18th.
The Toronto Snow Show has been bringing the entire snow sports market together in one place for 43 years, giving over 30,000 consumers annually a one stop experience to check out the latest gear, research their next trip or find a great deal at one of the many retail exhibitors or from Canada’s biggest ski and snowboard swap.
“Snow sports is part of the Canadian fabric,” says former Olympian and Alpine Ski Racing broadcaster Brian Stemmle. “The fact is that skiing/snowboarding are the perfect family sports – what other sport can the entire family spend the day enjoying the sport together yet with elements of individualism. It doesn’t get any better than a day out on the slopes”.
In addition to the to equipment, travel and retail exhibitors, the Toronto Snow Show has a number of interactive elements including:
The Pro-Am Rail Jam: An outdoor park where Canada’s top pro and amateur snowboarders and skiers take to the Rail Jam to show the audience what they’re made of. This highly acclaimed sporting event is FREE and runs with scheduled times for the duration of the show.
The Burton Riglet Park: A unique learning environment with animation and tools to engage kids to learn snowboarding in a fun way while utilizing gear designed and developed to making snowboarding easier for kids.
The Evolve Snow Camps & Skate Parks: Visitors have an opportunity to try new tricks and develop their skateboard skills on new surfaces, all supervised and coached by the Evolve staff who are on hand to help visitors take their skateboarding / snowboarding to the next level.
