Banff National Park, AB – Alberta’s best-valued lift ticket will be available for purchase at Mt Norquay this coming Wednesday, December 9th.
Continuing with the 90th-anniversary theme, Mt Norquay’s offering Alberta residents 90 cent day lift tickets in place of its famous Toonie Days. 90 Cent lift tickets will be available for purchase with an optional donation to the local charity ‘Santa’s Anonymous’. Sponsored by Edmonton’s 360 CHED radio station, Santa’s Anonymous is an annual campaign devoted to bettering the lives of less fortunate children by delivering the spirit of Christmas. Santa’s Anonymous began in 1955 when CHED general manager Jerry Forbes learned there were many children in Edmonton who simply went without a gift during the Christmas season.
Skiers and riders looking to bag a great deal on day lift tickets can do so for only 90 cent’s while supporting a great cause. With four additional Norquay 90 cent ski days scheduled for the 2015/16 ski season, those unable to attend this upcoming Norquay 90 day will be able to take advantage of the same discounts on January 13th, February 10th, March 9th, and April 6th.
Donations for the remaining Norquay 90 days will be selected by Mt Norquay’s guests in the coming months. Donations collected from each of Mt Norquay’s five 90 cent ski days will be dived between a variety of charities within Alberta and the Bow Valley.
