The 2014-15 ski season will mark 50 years in operation for Mount St. Louis Moonstone. Josl Huter, along with his wife Elfriede, is thrilled to commemorate that special beginning on December 16th 1964 with the announcement of night skiing this coming winter.
“After all these years, it’s time to ski and snowboard under the lights.” says the mountain resort’s CEO, Founder and Visionary Josl Huter. Elfriede Huter, Mount St. Louis Moonstone CFO goes further, “Opening day in 1964, lift tickets to Mount St Louis were $4.50! Join us Friday December 19th 2014 and MSLM will celebrate by offering that same price!”
This inaugural year, Mount St. Louis Moonstone’s new hours of night operation for the 2014-15 season will offer skiers and snowboarders 22 slopes, 2 Terrain Parks, 1 Half Pipe along with programs and lessons for all ages to enjoy 5 nights a week from Wednesday-Sunday and including holidays from 9am-9pm. MSLM will continue to offer only day operation Monday – Tuesday from 9am-4:30pm.
Josl and Elfriede have marked such an important milestone in large part due to the dedication and passion of their two sons, Robert and Andre Huter. As General Manager and Operations Manager respectively, MSLM truly remains a family run business 50 years later. Robert Huter is excited for all the new programs and high technology lighting, “…adult race, Terrain Park Jam Nights, MSLM has installed some of the best lighting systems in Ontario and customers are going to love it!” Andre Huter proudly continues and says, “Guests to MSLM have come to expect the best snow conditions, great lift capacity and now they can expect those same standards at night.”
Celebrations begin Monday June 9th with Mount St. Louis Moonstone offer customers a Summer Pass Sale Event! MSLM’s Night Season Passes start as low as $125! Or grab a 5×5 for ONLY $169! These prices, just like summer, will only be around for a short time. So slap on some sunscreen and buy your ski or snowboard pass on your tablet or smartphone from the backyard BBQ, the beach, the pool, on your boat or while at the cottage on www.mountstlouis.com.
