
Canadian Snowsports Association (CSA)
The CSSA is the federation for its nine ski disciplines, whose mandate is the development of elite amateur athletes and the pursuit of excellence at national and international level competition in the nine skiing disciplines. Each of the ski displines operates through regional divisions representing over 700 ski clubs with over 100,000 members. Incorporated in 1920, the CSSA represents Canada on skiing's / snowboarding's world governing body, the International Ski federation. The nine member disciplines of the CSSA are: Alpine, Cross Country, Freestyle, Jumping, Nordic Combined, Snowboard, Telemark, Speed Skiing and Disabled Skiing.
