Canadian Association of Nordic Ski Instructors (CANSI) 

The Canadian Association of Nordic Ski Instructors (CANSI) is a nation wide organization responsible for the certification of cross country (4 levels) and telemark (3 levels) ski instructors in Canada. Formed in 1976, CANSI's mandate is to develop and maintain a standardized ski technique and teaching program for nordic ski instruction, and to promote the benefits and social enjoyment derived from participating in the sport. In addition to certification the Association provides its 750 members with skill improvement and refresher courses, news on employment opportunities, liability insurance coverage and special equipment and accessories purchase opportunities.
